Get Your Book (GYB), established in 2017, is a vibrant social club at NIT Patna dedicated to fostering personal growth, social responsibility, and community engagement through a diverse range of activities. We believe in the power of knowledge, laughter, and collective action to make a positive impact on both the NIT Patna community and the wider society.

Our Mission

Igniting Minds

host engaging and fun events within the college, fostering interaction, promoting learning, and cultivating a vibrant campus culture.

Empowering Education

We organize book donation drives, ensuring underprivileged children have access to essential study materials and fostering a love for learn.

Celebrating Togetherness

We collaborate with underprivileged communities, organizing festive celebrations and creating joyful memories for children.

Serving with Compassion

We actively participate in community service initiatives, addressing local needs and contributing to social progress.

Our Guiding

The club is led by Shiv Kumar Chauhan, Professor Incharge, and supported by a dedicated team of members. Our founding member, Ramesh Raj, continues to provide invaluable guidance and inspiration.

Celebrating Milestones

Throughout the year, we organize five major events that showcase our diverse activities

Sahayog

An social welfare event, celebrating Holi in slums of Patna collaborating with local NGOs.

Jyoti

A festive celebration with underprivileged children, filled with joy, laughter, and shared experiences during Diwali.

Abhiyaanta

A fun-filled event within the college, fostering interaction and creating lasting memories on Engineer's Day.

Utkrisht

A platform for showcasing talents and promoting creativity within the NIT Patna community.

Blanket Donation

A winter relief initiative providing warmth and comfort to those in need.
